Therapies

Our treatment offering is tailored to your individual needs

At the centre of everything is your personal development — mentally, emotionally and physically. Our approach combines established medical and psychotherapeutic methods with innovative, evidence-based techniques.

A warm, collaborative scene where a female practitioner smiles while holding the hand of a patient lying down. A male practitioner sits in the background, also smiling.
A view looking into a bright consultation room through a partially open door. The room features two grey upholstered swivel chairs facing a small wooden side table. On the left wall hangs a large canvas print of a lone tree on a rocky, misty cliff. In the background, a therapy bed with blankets sits by a window framed with vertical wooden slats.

We support you with:

  • Depression
  • Burnout and exhaustion
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Trauma-related disorders
  • Chronic pain conditions
  • Severe adjustment disorders, for example in the context of life-threatening illness or complicated grief reactions

We naturally treat the full spectrum of psychiatric and psychosomatic conditions that can be managed in a partial hospitalisation setting, in addition to the primary diagnoses listed above.

If you are experiencing acute suicidality or a psychotic episode, please contact your responsible psychiatric emergency service.

A New Path: Psychedelic-Augmented Therapy

Sometimes entrenched thought patterns or deep emotional wounds block the healing process. In such cases, ketamine-augmented psychotherapy (KAP) can help dissolve these barriers and open up new perspectives. While conventional antidepressants aim to compensate for neurotransmitter deficits, ketamine makes the brain more receptive to existing neurotransmitters and actively promotes the formation of new neural connections.

At the OVID Day Clinic, we combine ketamine with intensive psychotherapeutic support in order to amplify its effects, facilitate shifts in perspective, and consolidate the gains achieved over the long term.

Psilocybin Therapy: Pioneering Work in Germany

Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. med. Gerhard Gründer, we offer Germany’s first officially approved compassionate use programme with psilocybin. The programme is designed for people with treatment-resistant depression and takes place within the framework of a multi-week day clinic treatment.

VR-Anwendungen – innere Welten erkunden

Virtual Reality can open up new perspectives on your emotional world in a safe and supported setting.

In specially developed VR environments, we guide our patients through meditative landscapes, calming visualisations and mindfulness-based experiences.

This technology helps promote emotional regulation, reduce anxiety and strengthen the connection to your own body.

Outpatient Group Therapy

Many people wish to benefit not only from individual therapy but also from the advantages of group therapy. Our group sessions (in English & German) offer exactly this opportunity.

Please register your interest through the patient management team at OVID Clinic Berlin.
